Product: Description:- In an age of unprecedented progress, humanity faces an unexpected crisis — not of resources, but of meaning. We have mastered technology, expanded economies, and connected continents. Yet anxiety deepens, identities harden, and success often fails to satisfy. The world stands powerful, but restless.

Bharat: The Spiritual Responsibility of a Civilisation invites readers to revisit an ancient yet urgently relevant inheritance — a civilisation that placed inner clarity at the heart of public life. From the seers of the Vedas to the moral discipline of Rama, from Krishna’s wisdom in the Bhagavad Gita to the devotional depth of the Bhagavata Purana, this book explores how Bharat wove spirituality into action, leadership, education, and daily living.

This is not a work of nostalgia. Nor is it an argument for superiority. It is a reflective inquiry into why Bharat’s civilisational continuity of inner exploration matters deeply in the twenty-first century. At a time when the world searches for balance, this book asks a quiet but urgent question:

Can Bharat once again hold the lamp of inward wisdom — not to dominate, but to illuminate? A thoughtful and measured meditation on responsibility, consciousness, and the future of humanity.

 Author Bio

Col (Dr.) Arvind Kumar is a physician, former senior officer of the Armed Forces, and lifelong student of Bharat’s spiritual heritage.

With over three decades of service in military medicine, he has led major hospitals, worked in high-pressure environments of command and care, and witnessed firsthand the vulnerabilities that lie beneath strength and success. His professional journey spans clinical practice, leadership, and disciplined institutional responsibility.

Beyond medicine and service, Dr. Kumar has long been engaged in reflective inquiry into Bharat’s civilisational wisdom. Deeply influenced by the teachings of the Rishis, the ethical ideal of Rama, and the integrative vision of Krishna, he writes with the perspective of one who has lived both action and contemplation.

Now pursuing a life oriented toward mindful living, healing practice, public reflection and introspective writing, he seeks to bridge discipline and spirituality, modern responsibility and ancient insight. He has already authored three books:
